School Standards and Requirements

All hours earned will be under the supervision of a licensed instructor who is physically present where students are training. Students are required to work as carefully as possible. After each work assignment, students are expected to clean and tidy up their work stations in accordance with Washington state sanitation guidelines. Each student will be required to perform a school duty each day while attending Shador. A roster will be posted weekly on a rotating basis for all classroom and school duties. Instructors will check the duty list daily to make sure students meet these requirements. Students are responsible for the proper up-keep of the clients’ chemical service files and for all classroom supplies. Students wishing to purchase additional supplies or services must first get permission from their Instructor prior to use. If a service is performed free of charge the service must be performed under the supervision of the instructor.

This means that at no time shall a student perform a service on another student without first getting permission from their Instructor. Clients always have priority for services. If a client comes in while you are having your own service done and there is no one else available, the student must service the client. Any student refusing to service a client will be immediately sent home and receive no hours from the time of dismissal. Students who are physically unable to service a client cannot be in attendance or receive hours.

Violation of the above standards and requirements may result in disciplinary action up to and including termination from school. The school reserves the right to terminate any student whose personal conduct – towards school staff or fellow students – is deemed unsatisfactory by the school. Re-admittance to the school will be at the School Director’s/ owners discretion.
